You can get it, easily guys, quit fighting over dates and prices. Just buy it. I've seen three threads this afternoon where people are still squabbling over details, its been here since monday the 9th, not the 19th.

I was told last night by the manager at the Annapolis, MD store that it won't be stocked in store until the 19th and even then, to call first before coming in. I don't have any reason to doubt his word.

Obviously you could put in a web order and you may or may not get it before the 19th. Does anyone actually have an XV6700 (purchased in the store or on the web) in their hot little hands yet?

Yes, I purchased mine in a Verizon store on Friday the 6th. It sounded like it was the first one off the truck. They didn't even know they could sell it until I asked.

1) It took almost two days for me to figure out what I had to change on my Exchange server to make it sync correctly. It wasn't a problem with the 6700, but with security settings on the web site for Exchange.

2) It didn't come with a belt clip, but just a protector. I ordered a nice belt holster from ExtremePDA (http://www.extremepda.com/page/XPDA/CTGY/spr int_ppc6700_accessories). Highly recommended. The...

How is the speed of web surfing? I tried the Sprint version at a store and thought it was pretty slow. But surfing with some of the samsung PDAs at the Verizon store the speed was pretty good. So I'm hoping that the Verizon version will be pretty acceptable (more a sprint network issue than a phone issue).

I use it mostly for sync with Exchange Server. Works fine for that, and is done through HTML. What web surfing I've done has seemed fine performance-wise. The web sites themselves are harder to navigate. I'm still getting used to the smaller screeen and comparatively larger web pages.

One thing i noticed worked well for the extra large pages is setting up the browser to display in a single column. Not so much scrolling sideways.
