PPC 6700 Problem

So my phone thinks it has a voicemail...

Only thing is, I don't have a voicemail. I even called my voicemail a few times to try and have it clear it (worked on my old Sanyo), and that doesn't work.

I eventually thought a soft reboot would work too, negative.

WTF? When you click on "Notificaton" and it says you have a voicemail, you click "Dismiss" and it doesn't go away completely...

I guess I can wait it out, but how annoying.

And one more thing, if you read the notification, it says "You have 1 new voice message(s)"... isn't that kinda dumb? If you have 1 voice message, why include the "(s)"? If you have more than 1 voice message, why not put an "s" in there, without the brackets? Thats some pretty simple programming...

I don't like that feature on it either... is there an upgrade out there that can clear that out after you dismiss it?

I've got new clue. It finally went away after somebody did leave a voicemail and then I called my voicemail and deleted it. What a pain...
