NEED HELP WITH PHONE

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PHONE I JUST GOT IT AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD RINGTONES OR ANYTHING , I'VE BEEN UP FOR DAYS TRYING TO WORK WITH THIS PHONE. LOL PLEASE HELP I WOULD GLADLY LOVE THE HELP.

You can use the the recorder to record and save whatever you want, then click and hold on the file with your stylus and you can choose to set the recording as a ringtone

My recorder is not connected to Media Player only Dell (by Music Match) so I cannot hear the recorded sound. It says that I need a microphone or something attached. How can I hear these recorded sounds??

Hey ~ Ok. First off, you need to install the Activsync software on your pc. This is what will create a connection between your phone and your pc. Once that is done, and you can SYNC your phone, you are halfway there.

There are two ways you can get the music into the 6700.
1) You can use Windows Media Player and to a sync
2) You can manually copy the files (easier)

Connect your phone to the docking cradle and open your MY COMPUTER. You will see a Mobile Device icon. Click on it and you will see the folders in your device. Goto your MY MUSIC (or any folder). Drag and drop the mp3 files you want (remember how much memory you have so be careful).

Once they are in the device, go on your device and goto your FILE EXPLORER and find the f...

I have tryed this and was able to get ringtones for my calls but was not able to get ringtones for my text messages and other events. Is there anyway that you can help me?

You can only use MP3's for ring tones if you want to cosumize your riminders and event alerts you need to use WAV files. You can convert MP3's to wav but it takes up MUCH more memory so make them short clips.
