Closing programs for real/task switching ...
When I run anything on my 6700, say Explorer, then hit the close/okay button at the top right to 'close' it, the program goes away but in reality it's still running. If I go to my Running Programs towards the end of the day I can see a history of everything I did, Notes, Contacts, Explorer, etc. The problem is, they are all still running, consuming memory and CPU cycles (presumably, although I'm sure not a ton as they are in idle states). How can I close/exit various applications for real, so they are completely closed/stopped? And finally, how can I task Switch (Alt-Tab on regular Windows) between all the running apps? Any ideas?
Thanks!

I don't believe there is a way to do task switching (alt-tab like) natively. I noticed that if you press the OK Button, repeatedly, It cycles you backwards through all the open tasks until you're back at the Today screen, but no way you can go backwards with the OK button. I know that there is some 3rd party software that allows you to do this... but I haven't researched that yet. when I do find something, I'll repost.

There's a free program called Magic button that actually closes your programs! also you can set it up so on the top of your screen it shows running program icons and all you have to do is click between icons to multitask like alt-tab. works wonders for me... no more settings, memory bla bla etc etc every half hour!

You can close programs by going into Settings, hit the Systems tab at the bottom, then open the the Memory icon, then click on the running programs tab and close some or all of the programs.
I purchased Spb Pocket plus wich lets you switch programs, close, minimize etc very easily.
