I've had the phone about a month now. It's a great way to surf on-the-go and all that but as a cell phone it sure is second class and seems like technology and ergonomics took 😎 two giant leaps backwards!
It's too bad you have to jump through hoops and pay extra to get voice recognition when larger buttons would help help greatly.
As it stands now I'm almost back to the days of pulling over off the road just to dial a phone number.
Then again, maybe my thumbs are just to thick! 😁

doesn't stink...just different...takes about 2 weeks to get used to it....and without a doubt voice command is the must...after some time you will start appreciating the phone and eventually forgive some of the shortcomings.... 🙂

So buy Voice Commander from Amazon for $31 and turn your phone into a great and easy to use toy!

Or if you like to dial go look around for bigger buttons, there are tons of .cab files that make the buttons bigger. quit complaining and fix it! (or find a way to make it better 🙂 )

At first I agreed with you. As a stand-alone, the phone's so-so at best. Add blue-tooth, and it changes everything. Take a few minutes to program your voice dials, and you'll be happy with the phone.

The speaker on the 6700 is mounted under the mirror on the back of the device and it is affected accordingly. It is possible, with some physical tweaking, to mod this to improve its level and frequency response. Read this thread for tips on how:
