all of a sudden my screen goes blank just a light grey screen no content.can anyone help I have to go into standby a couple of times before it comes back to normal

It's usually called DSOD, Dead Screen Of Death, but it usually requires a soft reset to make the phone operable again. yours sounds like it is just powering off, i know there is a timer for this to help save battery power, but if it comes back on after hitting the top power button, i wouldn't worry about it too much, it doesn't seem to be that big of deal
