Phone Lock frustrations

Does anyone know of or have a method of locking the phone when in ones pocket?

I've tried Mortsaver which locks the screen and all buttons except the "Answer" button.

I then upgraded the Phone's S/W which has built-in screen and button lock.

When using either method, whenever the phone rings and as I am removing it from my pocket, I inadvertently press the not locked "Answer" key thus forcing me to take the call before I can look at the caller-id.

There must be a way to shut down all key until a sequence is pressed ... even to answer calls.

I find this to be a pain also. The first day i had the phone I called my husband at least a hundred times and left him Voicemails of my day.

The only thing you can do is turn on the password lock under passwords in the settings. Then before you put it in your pocket hit the power button once quickly and the phone will go to sleep. You can edit the buttons to have no function if it is a big problem, but just pick it up from the sides, and see you it is before you hit the green phone and you are good to go.

The password work as well as the phone lock to prevent accidental "outgoing" calls but it does not prevent you from accidentally answering "incoming" calls since the "answer" and "ignore" buttons are active whether the Lock or Password features are active.

therefore ....i'm still frustrated with this phone. I'm thinking about taking it apart and disabling the buttons and using the touch screen only.

dude there is much software out there (most not free unfortunaly) to help aliviate this problem. I don't use any of it but if you search this forum there are many discussions including the software titles. You do not have to resort to disassembly the phone...LOL

I have not found an application that locks the green and red "answer" and "end call" buttons. They seem to be the only buttons that cannot be reconfigured. I've search the forum and read the other Q&As but none addresses my issue.

If I carried my phone in a purse or in a holdster this wont be an issue, but I like to carry mine in my pant pocket where just reaching for the phone answers or terminates the call because these buttons are being depresses as the phone is being extracted.
