Voice command thur headset?
Or does the voice command not work through the headsets?
I have heard its impossible to make calls 1 handed with this phone and you have to open the keyboard up. I would find this annoying especially while driving.
My other question is reception, dropped calls, and call quality. How does this phone perform? I wan a reliable phone. I know its a PDA first, but the phone must be reliable for me if I am going to purchase this.
Thanks!
As far as one handed calls I havent had any problems, although I can see that it would be an issue with really big fingers. And no, you do not need to open the keyboard to dial out, when you go to dial the touch screen becomes like any other phone and you can just press the numbers on the screen. With MS Voice Command it is even easier becuase you can just say the number or name you want to dial and it will call. (It seems to be very accurate too).
In reqards to the call quality (I have Verizon) I have not dropped a single call since I got it a month ago and receiption seems to be great ...

Install Voice Command to the default location.
Fire up a registry editor
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand
Modify the string marked "path" from the default \Windows\SDDialer.exe to \Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe
Now, when you press your BT headset connect button, MS Voice command will fire up and take commands through the headset. It's reponses will be played through the headset too.
