How do you send pictures and get ringtones????

I love my phone, but I've got a Mac...so synching up hasn't been an option. I'm trying to download Goldwave and any free AIM program from www.download.com. But I can't find the downloads anywhere after it says I've downloaded it. I also recieve error messages saying things aren't in the right format. Whether they be MP3's or AIM programs, nothing seems to be working. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.

Now this is just a simple reminder to all of those who bought or are planning to purchase this phone.. If you manage to aquire one of these little phones for your account you either had someone like me buy one or found a rep that wasn't supposed to sell it to you.. Or lived in a test market.. HOWEVER!!... This phone was designed for corporate accounts that have access to corporate plans.. If you at one time had "Unlimited Vision", or "Unlimited Text" you will no longer have these features! You must have an EVDO plan offered to these types of accounts!!. Now don't get me wrong, the phone will work on a basic account plan, but if you don't have the type of account this phone was intended for then you should be expecting some substantial charge...

Ok is anyone having the problem of your PPC-6700 calling people while in the holster?

What format do the ringtones i sent to this phone have to be in....mp3, wav, or what?? TIA

Does anyone know how to get the PPC-6700 to give constant reminders of voicemail (both sound & light) other than just the initial alert? I set the phone under "Sounds&Notifications" to flash light for 60 minutes, but other than the initial voicemail alert I get nothing.

Love the phone and keyboard is excellent for a phone. Using ok or x only closes out the screen though not the application. Control Q will close an application without having to go to settings system memory running programs and then stop whatever you wish. Does anyone know if the control character can be done with the mechanical keyboard? and does anyone know the gesture for control using character recognizer so that I don't have to bring up the little keyboard everytime I want to use the control Q command? Thank you!

Hey guys.. Sorry to ask for your help on such an easy question that I should know, but it was my fault for not saving the info.. I had downloaded the registry editor and done the tweaks. But I had to have my phone replaced and need to do it again. I downloaded the editor but forgot to save the walk throughs! Does anyone have the link to the walk throughs? Thanks in advance. DL

I cant believe that this phone doesn't have call forwarding, I just can't believe that is true. So how do you do it, What do you punch in, what is the deal. I know how to do it on my old Sanyo 5600 but it's not the same, or maybe it is and i'm just dumb. Either way I really need to do this, someone write back PPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS SSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Ok is there a way to call forward calls, and I wish texts but that is to much to ask I know. But how do you do the call forwarding, there has to be a way, I dont think this phone wouldnt have it at all, if that is true that is unreal....

I've heard November 21st or so thats when the razr is coming to alltel, any idea if this will be there about the same time.

Is it poss to display the video/tv in the full screen? When I launch the 'full screen' button it hides the WM options but the actual viewing screen just rotates and stays the same size.

Also, Does anyone know when Sprint is going to offer the Sprint TV (Vision plus) option for this phone?

The PPC-6700 has hit the warehouse for Radioshack and just needs to be loaded into there system. On monday everyone should be able to order by going into there local radioshack and doing a fax in process. That is you go in and pay for the phone and then they fax the ticket to there distribution center and they ship it back in about 2-3 days and then bang you have the phone.

I've read on another site that voice command via a bluetooth headset is impossible. Is this true? Will this not work with third party programs (Microsoft Voice Command, Vito Voice Dial??)?

I have a samsung A680 and I use voice command a lot through my wired earpeice. I want to upgrade to bluetooth with the same functionality. Lack of BT VoiceCom will break this deal for me. I might sadly go for the Samsung MM-940. I hear voice signal works with BT on that.

I have a potential cust that wants a 6700. First, he wants to know if it can send/rec faxes. Also, can you disable the phone mode, but still be online so he can download a large, time-consuming file without losing his download due to an interruption from an incoming call. Anyone know if this phone has these capabilities? Thanks in advance!

Ok so the whole getting rid of the software and all worked great, but I cant access the internet at all, wwith wifi or evdo, or x1... nothing at all... So how do I fix this problem?

How can you sucessfully use a Bluettooth enabbled laptop with the Sprint PPC-6700?

I am trying to use the EVDO service in my area to connect to my office through this method. I have tried the verizon PCMCIA card and it works fine but I want to combine functions even if the data speed is slower.
