Samsung SGH-T809 / SGH-D820

i have managed to get my own mp3 to play as the main ring, but i cannot assign individual mp3 ringtones. what am i doing wrong?

I no their have been threads about that, but they always seem to go off in different subjects.

So please help.

Is anyone familiar with the secret menu and internal audio settings? I was playin around with them tryin to make the mp3's louder and eliminate the ascending ringtone problem... but now the volume when I play videos is messed up(basically the lowest volume setting is set to high instead of mute).I borrowed my friends T809 and set each value back to normal, but its still doing it and I cant figure it out.

Any ideas? 😕

how do you get the pictures to go onto your memory card after its been on your phone. i want to get them on the card so that i can upload them on my computer.

i tried again to flash my phone with the iso and a fully charged 9v and fully charged phone. the program hangs at the part where im supposed to turn my phone on. it just says "power on phone". when i do that it just sits there. is it supposed to sit there for a long time before asking me to download the bin and tfs? also my phone just says "insert sim".

Has any1 succesfully put a full length movie on their phone.
if so how long was it.
and please tell me how u did it PLEASE HELP

Does anybody know where to get the firmware that switches the SGH-T809 to the SGH-D820?

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but I couldn't figure it out.
I have just reupped w/Tmobile and got the T809 and I also got one for my girlfriend. I have had absolutely no problems with the software except does anyone know how to save the phone numbers from more than one phone onto one computer. I mean, can you save a copy of the phone numbers into one file..i.e. Girlfriends number and then one for myself in the same program? I basically want to do this in case she or I lose our phones and we can just upload the numbers into the new sim card and not have to manually input EVERY single number. Since we only have one computer that we use, I haven't been able to figure out how to save the numbers into a file so that I can reload then...

Is there a way to increase the playlist? Each playlist can only hold 30 songs and there are only 4 playlist available but 1GB transflash can hold a lot more songs than that. Is there a way to increase the numbers of songs for a particular playlist or increase the number of playlist? Thanks.

alright i got this phone like a week ago and read through every page of the forum and i have figured out just about everything i could want to do with this phone i got a 1gb card it works awesome i can record easily 30 min (maybe an hour i dont have the patience to try) long videos at the highest quality and everything is great, but i really wanna flash to the d820 firmware so i can use opera mini for html web browsing since having a edge wap browser is kinda weak........anyone know in detail how to flash it or another way to html web browse????

and a few other lil questions?
can you save messages to memory card instead of sim?
can you record video to memory card instead of phone memory?

Here's what works for me:

Program = Mpegable x4 Live (got it on emule)

BasicI/O
Encoding Profile = ADSL (click apply)

Video
Bitrate = 400 kBit/s
Biterate Mode = Constant
Adaptive Framerate = Full

Audio
Bitrate = 96 kBit/s (I think 128 works too)
Channel = Stereo
Sample Rate = 44100 Hz

Image Preprocessing
Uncheck Display Dimention
Check Cropping/Resizing and Click Setup
Then in the new window Check CIF and High Quality
and Uncheck Constrain Proportions

Video Preprocessing
Framerate = Click User Defined and enter 15.00 Hz (I haven't tried higher yet)

Inoperability
MPEG-4
Check Simple Profile

This is all you need to change
Now go back to Basic I/O
Click the RED dot to start encoding

Y is the IMEI so important wut is it?do u need it really?

MP3 Player:

rewind / fast forward = press and hold left / right

1 - equalizer
2 - visualizations
3 - repeat options
4 - 3D sound on/off
5 - player skins
6 - shuffle on/off

Video player:

rewind / fast forward = press and hold left / right

FULL SCREEN = press "1"
(press again for it to flip the other way full screen)

press "2" when not in full screen to change player skins

i have jus bot a igb card that works great frum ebay. but now i wana no if i can record videos straight to my memory card so they are longer

I was just wondering if anyone can recommend using a different file transfer program than the one that comes with the phone (on the cd). I tend to not like using proprietary software but the phone doesn't show up in "My Computer". Also, the transfer rate is incredibly slow (this could also be due to the phone not being USB2?).

where do i put this? i open the plastic cover that has the battery in it but it doesn't look like i can put it in
