A900 LCD Issue
Hey guys,
I work at a cell phone store selling Sprint. I have been selling Blades pretty easily, and I like the phone. But the other day a customer came in and brought her Blade back, complaining of an issue where if somebody calls, their picture ID on the Sub LCD will be broken and choppy. I exchanged it for her, no problem.
Well, my gf just got the phone today, and she just set my picture as my pic ID. It did the same thing. I'm gonna have to exchange it for her, but I am just curious if anybody else noticed this.

Tried it on mine, no problems at all. You may check the resolution of the orginal picture first and see if changing it to 640x480 fixes the problem

happend on mine too and this fixed it:
make sure the number with picture ID is in this format
000-000-0000
not - 1-000-000-0000 or 000-0000

I put on my picture as mine and labled it:
0000000000
I put a different pic for a different phone number, and named it:
0000000001
But the first comes up for both numbers, although it plays the correct respective ringtone for each number.

Hey Thanks a bunch! Putting the phone numbers in with only the area code and phone number and not adding a 1 in front of the number worked! Now everyones picture ID comes up right.

I bought my A900 last week from LETSTALK.COM. Phone is great, all except for one thing: the external LCD started whiting out on me this morning, one minute the display would show, the next nothing but white. Now it appears as if it's cracked or something. Phone was never dropped or mishandled at all in the 4 days I've had it so far. Still have the original plastic film on the outside. Called LETSTALK.COM and they agreed it sounded like a defect, so I am returning it by Fedex tonight. Only issue is now I'm without a cell phone for 2 days! 😡 Didn't know if many people are experiencing similar outer-LCD issues with this phone.
