Making your Mp3 Files Smaller????

I just recently got the a900, and I got about 3 mp3 files on it before it was completely full, I was curious If anyone had any info on making theses files smaller to fit more on the phone? Any ideas?

Use a program such as DBPowerAmp to lower the bitrate. Lower bitrate means worse sound, but lower files size.
