hey, guys, check the Yahoo Go, it is awesome, push email
sync photos, appointments (calender), tasks, and address book, and a lot more.
got my Q yesterday went to

and got the Yahoo GO, very easy and straight forward process in synchronizing it to the Q, took couple of min after that to sync with yahoo mail and the address book, so be careful when syncing it with professional or work contacts, beside it gives you the option to choose what to sync.
I think it is an alternative for the Gmail push mail, that is someone could not get it to work with his / her Q.
haven't played with every thing that comes with Yahoo! driving direction, sports messenger, movies or Tasks, but I am planning to ...

Dude, I went to the yahoo website and it directed me to www.get.go.yahoo.com on my Q. I did that and it said go is not available for windows 5.0. what gives? Your link is different. whats the deal?

i was checking the application catalog on the Motorola Support web site for the Q, and i found that link, and it worked for my Sprint Q, funny I received an e-mail notification right now with your message, just go to either the Support page and browse till you get to the Yahoo! GO link, or just click on the link, and try it.

Okay, you are right.. the info i found at yahoo is for a beta version of their 2.0 software. The support for that version is limited the yahoo go software you got (and me, now) is an older version, but i dont care about that--- i just want my email. I set it up but so far i havent seen it push the emails to me.

check the settings, and to be honest i downloaded twice the first time it worked for a bit, but i then downloaded more stuff and synced with my pc, i wsa playing and discovering the Q, but yesterday i resed the phone and had it installed it again and so far it works fine!!

it turns out that it works for me, too. I had the settings set to be always connected and automatic, but it was taking forever for messages to get through. So I changed it to manual and to auto-check evry 5 minutes. It works much better that way. Many thanks!
