I've got some gripes ...

I still like the phone, but after some use there are things that annoy me.

1. First, I often pull the phone out of my pocket to find the browser and/or the media player open. The buttons obviously get easily pushed and I can't figure out how to lock the keypad.

2. Unless I'm missing something, the Speed Dial ain't speedy. With the Moto, I'd just hold down, say, number 2 to dial that person. On the SDA, it's 2, #, then wait a second or two to OK the confirmation screen.

Those are the ones I can think of immediately, but I'll add more as they come to mind ... 🙂

I haven't messed with the speed dial yet, but in order to lock the keypad, you can either press the power button really quick and go down to "Key Lock", number 4 - or hold down the "End", red phone, button. Then to unlock, click unlock then "*".

My biggest annoyance is the keypad, I get really paranoid when using it - but it's a very minor problem, the screen and Wi-Fi quickly makes up for it - have fun

For Speed Dial just press and hold the key you've assigned to that person/app; that's it. There is no # in the routine. It dials in 1-2 seconds with the key pressed.

Keypad lock is equally easy with the explanation in the other response to your post.

the sequence I described was only to Speed Dial SIM contacts. All is OK now that they are in the phone itself.

Thanks.
