I just got my motorola a1200 and I am really impressed with it.

The only problem is that the clock is currently set to January 1st, 1970!

Does anyone know how to set the clock manually? I can't seem to find this option anywhere.

I'm surprised it can't sync through my network (cingular) like my previous cell phone (razr). Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I've seen many other posts on different sites asking how to change the clock on this phone and not until I found motorolafans.com did I finally get my answer.

Before that, I must have looked in the "world clock" app 15 times and never thought to c...

Well... It IS a Linux phone. It's not Windows.

You can also click on the little bars icon on the bottom left to get the menus. The only option in the Time applet is Setup - and you can likewise change the format for both time and date there.

It is very easy, just go to World Clock, click on the options, go to network time, and then disable automatic network time.
Then Ok, and tap over the time to change it.
I hope it works.
