Samsung SGH-D807 / D806
Headphone/Mic jack
Can someone please tell me whether the headphone and mic jacks are the same on the D807 as they are on the D500/D508/D600/D608? I would like to use a headphone/mic adpater from one of these other Samsungs if they are compatible. Thanks very much.........

I found one at DayDeal that is listed as fitting the D807. Still waiting for it to arrive to prove that, but it looks promising. $11.99 shipped.

I have received it, and I like it alot. My one complaint is small--the "mute" button is a toggle. The only way to know if it is on or off is to speak into it and see who responds..🙂
Because of that, I leave it "on" and use the mute on our conference system.
But the sound is good, mic is sensitive enough to use clipped to my collar or pocket successfully while driving, and I can use my "normal" headphones. Four out of five stars.

Hey, cpt. lemur i have a question about your adapter that you just bought. Can you remove the mic so that its just the adapter alone and i can just connect headphones? I would like to since i have no use for a mic.
If not, could you help me find an adapter that is just the adapter without any headphones attatched and no mic? I want to buy a specific type of headphone and i wanted to buy just the adapter.
