Samsung SGH-D807 / D806
Memory Card Info
I got a memory card for my samsung d807 and ran into some trouble. I couldn't find any forums or anything on samusungs website to help. I finally figured out whats going on and wanted to put it up here in case someone else runs into this. Samsung says this phone supports a 1gb card but they recommend not putting anything bigger than 512mb, otherwise performance will be affected. I put a 1gb card in the phone with some pictures on it, but when you try to look at anything on the card it would give an error message something like "access failure please reinsert memory card", i put the card in several different computers and the pictures were on there just fine, nothing wrong with the card. My card is 512mb. I have pics on it and i just took it out of my old phone and put it in my new D807. When i try to move pics to the phone it says "Failed". WTF?

There's several things that could be wrong.
-The card might be formatted in FAT, it needs to be FAT32
-pictures must be in a supported file format
-might be over the filesize limit
-filename must be 32 characters or less
I would copy the pictures to your computer, reformat the card to FAT32, make sure the picture filenames are not longer than 32 characters, copy the pictures back onto the card then try it.
