Can't Connect My Bluetooth Headset

I have a Motorola HS810 Bluetooth headset and my w810 can't seem to connect with it. You would think that two 810s would find each other, right?

The headset still works with my V710 handset so can anyone help me troubleshoot? The only things I can connect to are my iMac G5 and my neighbor's Blackberry.

You gotta close the boom mic and hold the button while the phone is searching. If the mic is extended, it won't connect.

That is not how you pair an HS810. The boom must be open to pair.

Well I spent an hour with it open and it didn't pair so maybe HS810 owners should try both methods.

With the boom closed, you press the big silver button on the headset. Hold it until the blue light becomes solid, then open the boom. Now have the other device search, and it will find it.
