E on Top of Screen
can anyone tell be what E at the top of the screen means. its not one of the signed denoted in the back of the book.
I'm having a problem downloading my email (I onlyget the headers). curious if these two are related.

The "E" means you have Edge data connectitivy availalbe. A "G" means the slower GPRS is available. The "E" or "G" in place of the antenna icon on the signal strength bars means that you're connected via "E" or "G" data.
As for the headers, go back into your mail account options - there's a setting near the end to dowload just headers, a limited amount of data, or the whole message.
BTW, the two shouldn't be connected at all.
