K790 can you shut off shutter sound and flash?

I was wondering can you shut off the flash or is it just automatic according to the light needed? Also, can you shut off the shutter sound like on the K750?

Flash can be disabled.

Shutter sound is just like the K750 where it depends on the region of the firmware if it can be set to silent. K790a can't, some K790i's can and some can't.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I CANT SEEM TO FIND ANY OPTION THAT ALLOWS ME TO TURN THE FLASH OFF. IT ONLY HAS AUTOMATIC AND REDUCE RED-EYE. I HAVE THE K790A NOT K800I IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Same problem as who? I never said that I have this problem. All I do is slide open the lens cover and push the * key to switch flash settings, which are: Auto, Red-eye, and OFF
