K790a vs. W810i

I'm a cell phone guy and I'm wondering if the W810i can compare to the K790a. The W810i is out for cingular so I dont know how well it compares. If anyone knows It be great to hear back from you. Thanks

Two questions

Hi, I have two questions about this phone. A) Is it able to view Streaming video off the net (IE youtube. googlevideo etc)? B) Does it have the same Walkman features as the W810i(playlists, radio, setup etc) Any help would be much appreciated.

Could this phone be used with sprint or verizon? Or would it need cingular for the GSM?

K790a 0r K800?

I have Cingular prepaid and I plan on buying one of these phones I was just wondering which one would be better for my plan.

Released on Tmobile???

i was looking to buy this phone on ebay, and this guy apparently has one for sale in a tmobile box. he says it was just released? could this be possible? if so, how come it's not on the tmobile website?

3.5mm Jack?

Does the K790a/K800i have a 3.5mm headset jack on it? Or just the 2.5mm jack for hands free headsets? I am about to buy one of these and I am curious to know.

Antenna boosters for K790?

The K790 is at the top of my list for a new phone, but I need reliable reception across several miles of open ocean between city and island home. Do any manufacturers make some kind of antenna booster?

I am looking to purchase an unlocked version of this to use in the U.S. through Cingular. Am I better off with the 790 or the 800? Any opinions and thoughts is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Will K790a replace the w810i on Cingular?

The Sony Ericcson w810i on Cingular is no longer available. Anyone know if the k790a will replace it? Will it be soon?

790i Best Version for T-Mobile (US)? - Where to buy?

The 790i seems like the best version for TM, agreed?

If so, who is selling this particular model? I can not find a dealer.

Problem with Ringtone Assignments

HEY! I'm so excited...I got my k790a yesterday and IT ROCKS! Best phone ever. One problem...although I've assigned ringtones to different contacts, whenever somebody calls it plays what I have as the general ringtone in settings. All my tones and contacts are saved on the phone and the tones all play. What's the problem? Anyone know how to fix this b4 I send my gem back???? --- TeTRiS

K790 in NYC

HI all,

I just switched over to Cingular from T-Mobile and got the Nokia E62... its a good phone but i simply don't use all the features... so i want to switch over to the K790... does anybody know of any retailer in the NYC area that has the phone? i'm still within my 30-day trial so I'm hoping i can switch my phones... if not, i'll get stuck with the W810i... any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Ringtones

can you plug the memory card up to the computer and drag and drop songs into the ringtones folder on the phone? or can you just set mp3's as ringtones?

Instant Messaging

well the subject states it the question, so is there a IM app on the k800? for me, an IM app is very important and is a very deciding factor for me.
