ringtones

hey does anyone know how to set mp3's as ringtones? its only letting them be used as incoming messages...is there a way to set em as ringtones..or do the songz have to be a certain amount of length??
plz help 😁

I have found that you can only put the smaller mp3 files like ringtone legnths to be used for ringtones. Songs are just too long.
