New 8300 software.
I dropped off my phone today. The tech told
me the update was to address the folowing:
dropped calls
the battery
reception
Will see if there is any improvement.

More likely it's to address you're being able to put your own mp3s and ringtones and videos on it, instead of buying theirs.
That's what the last Chocolate firmware update addressed on my daughter's and wife's phones.

There is a overall improvement with my
phone since the software update.
The reception is better as noted by
amount of bars.
