i was looking at verizon's website and this phone is avaliable for purchase. $49.99 two year contract and $99.99 one year contract.

Just ordered mine. I am glad I was able to hold out, I almost got the vx8100 about 10 times in the past week because I needed a new phone. They are buy one get one free even! Got one for me and the wife. I will post a review as soon as I get it and use it for a day or two.

I thought the "buy one get one free" promotion only appplied when you activate service on certain calling plans. Is that what you did?
Otherwise, don't think you "get one free" if all you're doing is upgrading at promotional prices.

ARMY u are about a waste of space on here....I made a post the other day and receive a email bashing me, now someone provides some info about this phone being available (which i appreciate, just ordered it) and u bash them. Get a life and If u dont have anything nice to say....u know the rest.

I went to verizons site logged in to get my upgrade and did not see the phone. i then called cusotmer service and they told me this phone is not available. how can some people have ordered this phone already and i cant even bring it up on the site nor does customer service(which is a general number for the nation does not have it showing up) i love in Jersey some one please explain!

Anyone know if A2DP is in fact enabled? It's not mentioned on the Verizon site. I'm suing Verizon if it's not. Enough is enough.

If it's not listed on the site, why would you sue them? It's not like it's false advertising. They're not saying that it's available. If they said it was available and then disabled it, then you might have a case on your hands. But they learned from their mistakes with the V710 fiasco.
So let's just take a step back and breathe here. Unless they say something is available, don't get your hopes up. The only place that says it supports A2DP is here on PhoneScoop, and last I recall, PhoneScoop isn't owned by VZW.
