Ringtones from an email ???
I know people are saying you can put an mp3 in an attachment of an email and send it as a pix msg then save to phone as a ringtone. i have tried multiple times, however, everytime i am getting error, sound save, basically saying their is nothing to save as a ringtone.. is there a setting i have to change on this phone for it to work? Please advise ...

I have the same question as well, i know you have to shorten the song to like 30 seconds but how do i convert it from WAV format to MP3 format? and what program do you use to shorten the song to 30 seconds. i have tried this but nothing works.

There are lots of apps that will do it. I use one-click ringtone converter. Others include mobile ringtone converter, xingtone ringtone maker, etc.

cnet has one called mp3 cutter, it will read wav and mp3, the trial is free and limits you to cutting only 30 second clips, but that is perfect for ringtones cuts! I have tried a few but this one is probably the easiest to use, it also lets ou change the bitrate to keep the quality top notch. Just remember to keep it under 350kb in size.

hey "yeahright", do you have the exact link to download mp3 cutter? i went to cnet and also googled it but there are several different programs that say mp3 cutter.

also, what bitrate do you put it at? 64?

I use Audacity and yes 64.
