Since it was just approved it may not be available for flashing in all stores just yet.

Anyone who gets the upgrade please list here your experience with it. Also any info on improvements from version 1 to 2 would be appreciated.

Before anyone asks, no I don't have any info on the changes at this time.

According to this link from PC Mag, 2 gig cards now work with this update. Any success with this guys?

"Editor's Note: In early October 2006, a firmware update activated Bluetooth stereo music support and allowed the use of 2GB MicroSD cards."

Before i updated to version 3 i had problems with bluetooth. people could not hear me even though i heard them, Static at 2 ft, disconects. I had tried Logitech traveler, 2 different headsets and Moto HS850. after the update everything works great on HS850. Range of about 25' no audio problems very little static.Voice command much improved.

So would you think it would be safe for me to buy a hs850 for the lg8300? I had problems with it before, when you hang up it would also do a bunch of wierd buzzing sounds plus what you described. How is the call connect? slow or about right? It's my favorite headset would love to try it again with this phone since I did get the update. The headset I now use (plantronics320) works better since update but this headset has no range.
Thank you,
Steven SoCal
