LG VX-8300
8300 or 8100??
Hi, I just signed up with verizon again and I got the LG 8300 for a phone. I used to have verizon and I had the LG 8100. I loved that phone with the blinking light in the front, but they have discontinued it. Does anyone know if it was a bad phone and that is why it is gone? Is there a difference? Should I just be happy with the 8300 or get an 8100 on ebay and sell this one? Any help would be great, Thanks and happy holidays!

im with you i have the 8300 and i think its not as great as the 8100. i really miss my flashing technicolored light.

I would keep the 8300. I've had both and truth be told the 8300 was very bulky. I read about the dimmer front screen and the inability to display text messages, but after owning the phone for about 30 seconds I didn't care. I've had the 8300 since it came out and have no regrets.

Actually he or she meant ..."the 8100 was very bulky". The 8300 is thin and SWEEEEET !!! Absolutely "LOVE" my 8300 (and yes, I had [and "liked"] my 8100 too)... F**k-ing LOVE it ! Is that enough passion 4 u ?
