What's the next new phone to have???
I know my name reflects a few phones back, but what's next from Verizon? I can easily pass over the 'chocolate' and all the flavors. My ne2 is approaching. Does anyone have any info about new LG phones?

Hold onto it for a while. Nothing good will be coming out soon.

If you really want a new phone try the 8600. I like it a lot b/c of it's size. However, the reason I personally am not going to get it is b/c apparently the speaker phone is very poor.
I think that magman68classic is right. There doesn't seem to be any cool new phones coming out. Another option is the KRZR, but it uses the standard boring Verizon UI and on top of that it's a Motorola so it will probably break after 3 months!

July should be about the time a new version of the 8300 comes out. If history dictates to us anyway. I have the 8100(came out mid-summer of 2005)(then 8300 mid-summer 2006)(hopefully a great phone that compares to the 8100 for us mid-summer 2007).

Let's bring this to the top again. I too have an 8100 and love it, but It's almost time to get a new phone. If I could get VZ navigator on this phone I would keep it forever. That being said the 8300 sounds perfect, but alas the rumors of the 8350 leave me feel like I might be missing out on something. Any and all input appreciated.

Its hard to say. I too am waiting for the 8350, but am worried that I might get burned doing so.
Because it may be that LG will totally deplete the stock of 8300s before releasing the 8350 (they recently dropped the price of the 8300), so if I wait for the 8350 to release, try it out, and don't like it, I might not be able to find an 8300 to fall back on. ☹️
I'm pretty conflicted right now... the 8300 is the 'sure thing', everyone likes it, but the 8350 (if they don't futz it up) is sleeker and could be a bit better, and I really want to try it out before deciding. But I may screw myself over by doing so, lol.

Without a doubt the next phone to have is the vx9400. It's not on phonescoop yet, its competitor the samsung u620 is. It has live TV, a big screen, and kick ass design. Google it. It comes out this quarter.
