Motorola W315

Blinking message icon with Pen - What is this?
It keeps blinking like I have a message, but I don't!
What is this saying, and how do I clear it!

Hi, My kids just purchased these phone and I installed motorola phones tools deluxe 4.0 and let it do a live update.

The problem is that the phone tools will not see the w315. it has almost every other one in there but not the w315.

My kids would love it if they could install their own ringtones and pictures as backgrounds but the tools will not let them.
Any info or help will be greatly appreciated

Anyone interested in this phone would do well to reconsider. Although it seems attractive it lacks the most basic of features which is multimedia transfer. There is absolutely no way to customize the phone with your own ringtones and wallpapers.

The hinge allows the flip to wiggle around. The screen is unreadable when you are outside. The outside coating scratches very easily. If you try to get help for your problems from Motorola they practically deny they ever made the phone and will refer you to your carrier who will in turn refer you to Motorola, etc. Absolutely no multimedia transfer. Included ringtones are sappy as are the wallpapers. Battery life is nowhere near to what is advertised.

I have a large number of text messages that I would love to save for sentimental purposes, but cannot for the life of me, figure out how to transfer them to my PC or forward them to my email.

The times that I have attempted to do so have resulted in the messages failing to send. I have scoured the Internet in hopes of finding a solution. The best method in my opinion is the forwarding idea, but since it does not work, I am at a complete loss as to what I can do.

Perhaps it is simply Metro that will not allow you to forward texts to email addresses? It does not make much sense if that is the case as others text to my email on a daily basis, yet I cannot do the same (send text messages to my email address from...

Can this phone receive pictures from other people who have camera phones,meaning if my friend had a picture she wanted to send to me could it be sent to this phone.

This may not be the most exciting phone (specs wise), but for those who don't need/want a camera, this is the PERFECT option. It has a high quality screen, external display, and likely will have the usual stellar Motorola reception.

Come on Verizon.....this is a yawner!!!!

Have you guys had any problems with the battery life, or could it just be my phone?

Well, even though the BOX says to go to vtext.com to download ringtones, this phone is not listed on the site and it seems we can't download ringtones to it. How stupid? What's so hard about allowing this phone to receive ringtones? Does anyone know if this is in the works for this phone?

I'm thinking about abandoning this phone because it doesn't seem to have a feature I'd grown used to with my previous Nokias- the ability to see the time of day during a call. Does anyone know if and how this phone can do this, or whether any Motos can? Thanks!

I recently purchased a Moto W315 and I've noticed it has a fair amount of play in the hinge when the phone is closed. When the flip is open it's fine. Has anyone else has this problem? Is this normal for this phone?

is this phone really going to have analog in it. When I was working for VZW(last year) we were told that we wouldn't see anymore analog phones come out since they are phazing out the analog toweres.

ive been waiting for phonescoop to add this phone. i have checked about this phone online since april. this phone is gonna be awesome. its small, no camera, able to play my mp3 ringtones i send myself via text message, its blue but ive seen black as well. looks like the pebl but it gonna be cheap because it doesnt have all the toys on it. i called verizon they said its not coming out in the next month so im hoping early october. oh yea its motorola wich is the best best best in reception. this will be the last phone i buy in my life lol i cant waittttttttt
