SMS Texting for 8525
Hello all,
I'm looking at switching to Cingular from Sprint and purchasing the 8525. My main question would be with texting, are the text messages threaded, which means does it show as a chat message? i.e. like the Treo 750?

naw it is not threaded.. u might be able to find an application that can get it likle that

there are applications for threaded sms....but its very spotty. It works for some but not for others.

Thanks for the info. Let me ask you, which do you think is better as far as the 8525 and the Treo 750? I know the 8525 has Wi-Fi but is that really that big of a plus to have? I'd like to know your thoughts.

that depends on the user....with the increased speeds, if you are in a 3G area then its not a big deal. I think the difference in the two comes down to form factor and due to that i like the 750 more.

I myself chose the 8525 because it's got a bigger screen with higher resolution which does video better, plus the keyboard is much easier to type with, much easier. I've had a treo and it does have a better form factor, but the reasons i list above for me outweigh the form factor.
