Is anyone using Microsoft Voice Command?
1 - does it work thru the wired stereo earbuds
2 - do I have to have my phone unlocked and press one of the buttons (like voice dialing) to initiate a voice command?

Short answer is yes to both.
I believe there's still an issue initiating commands with Bluetooth headsets. Wired headsets work depending on the type.
Personally, I use Voice Command on my PPC phone and Smartphone. I find its limitations irritating and don't use it much anymore.
