PTT
every source before this one said this phone was going to have PTT and now this doesnt mention it.... anyone know anything that phonescoop doesnt?
...
From what I've read, the phone is capable however it will be a supplemental software upgrade in the future that will enable it with the carrier; in this case, Cingular.
...
The phone does have PTT, and it's Kodiak based, so it'll work for Cingular. I've seen a live model of this phone and it's hot!

hey colione112.
have you played with this phone, held it, etc? if so, how does it feel? does it have a bulky feeling in your hands?
any info would be great,
Thanks.
...
It's got a nice feel compared to the bulky feel of the 8125. Everything is easy to get to and the keyboard has a sturdier feel than the 8125 too.
I was pleased with how the phone reacted to moving through the menus, with very little lag time.
...
That was the main issue with the 8125. The processor was horrible. The thing had a 10 second lag at its best, and sometime it even froze.
I cant wait to get this thing. 🙂
...
they doubled the processor speed in this one. You'll love it if that was an issue for you.
...
that was actually the only issue. The 8125 was great, but i returned it a week later because the processor speed was killing me. Not only did they double the speed, but they used a good processor unit (Aumsung) as opposed to the 8125's texas instruments. Not saying they are bad, but they make calculators, which is probably why the thing was so slow. Anyway this is the answer to all of my needs, im ready to get my hands on this bad boy 🤤
