It's official: Release date is November 16th
Good news for all of us geeks who have been waiting and watching for the ever changing release date of the Cingular 8525. Cingular has posted a press release (http://cingular.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=pr ess_releases&item=1746)
that explains in full detail the new 8525 and is release date which will be on November 16th, 2006. Bad news is that the only price given is $399.99 and alludes to the possibility that that might be the 2 year contract price. If so, that would put it out of my price range for a while and I suspect others as well. I purchased my trusty 8125 for $100 so it might be a while for me to abandon it just yet.
