connecting with/thru the wifi connection
i know i dont have to pay when i use the wifi connection so this is not a question concerning that
what i want to know is how do i know that i am using the wifi connection and not my medianet plan when i connect to the internet..
i never want to use the medianet because i have wireless throughout my house and throughout my school
can anyone assist me in doing that??

Turn off UMTS/HSDPA and turn on WiFi in Communications Manager. See page 94/95 in the manual.

go to start, settings, connections tab, connections, then manage existing connections, hold down on any setups there and when pop-up menu comes up, select delete. that way everytime you connect it has to go thru wifi.
