Mac Compatibility
Just bought a N73. Love the phone except that i cannot mount it on my Mac when I connect it with the USB data cable provided. I dont have a memory card at the moment but all I wanted to do was drag n drop some songs from itunes into the phone to test the speakers out. iPhoto however does launch when i connect the phone and even though i have taken a few snaps, i Photo does not recognize this and says 'no items to import'. The PC suite disk that came with the phone obvousl doesn't work with my Mac.
I can still transfer to n from using bluetooth but a usb cable would have been faster.
Any suggestions, I'd appreciate

I have a nokia 6682, and have the same issue. I think we are just out of luck. The only way a mac will see a phone running S60 is via bluetooth for some reason, and even then it only lets you sync your contacts, address book and what not. To get files on and off of my phone, I just use a MMC/SD card reaser and a 1gb mem card. Its fast, and easy. But not as easy and pulling in the phone directly. But, I have installed lots of stuff that way such as flash lite, lots of flash games and apps, and I use it to get photos on and off (works perfect with iPhoto) and I put my pod casts on my phone this way too, so I can have them at work. You can get a mini SD card and reader for cheap if you check out froogle. Hope that helps.

I happen to own a 6682 as well as a MAC and I was under the impression that data transference would be easy between the 2 (yeah right). I'm still trying to figure out how to isync with this phone; nevertheless, I do have an answer for putting music on your phone.
First, remember that itunes music file is a protected AAC. Even though modern Nokia phones will support these files, it does not mean that you can just transfer via bluetooth, or memory card reader. It will not work that way. You will have to convert the music file to MP3. Here's what you do:
1) Open itunes on your computer, select "itunes" on the menu bar at the top of your screen and a drop-down menu will appear.
2) Select "preferences" (3rd option from the top).
