its True it is.... the chocolate feels cheap and the 8300 outperforms it easy. This forum is DEAD the 8300 forum had way better buzz and still Does. The sales are in the toilet on this thing, peeps still gravitate to flips for good reason, sliders are a pain in the butt!!! small buttons and lack of functionality just kills this phone. Anyways have fun with it I rate it a ZERO tho. Come ON lg 9900 now this phone will be TOPS

The 8600 looks cool, but it also looks too much like the RAZR, IMO, and the RAZR is old news. The 9900, though, looks like it will be a hit.

I'm hoping it doesn't end up looking exactly like that picture but more what it is suppose to be which is a flip phone version of the chocolate. I razr type phone that actually worked wouldn't be all that bad.

I should have mentioned that picture is of the 810 and not the 8600. I've seen other pics of the 8600 which show a different design and keyboard(not necessarily a better kb). Since this doesnt appear to be approved yet by the fcc (nor does the 9900) it seems rather weird that both are due out in september with the 9900 coming on 9/4. Maybe the rules have changed on how phones get released.

This pic, which is horrible but at least it shows it to be different then the 810. Just hard to tell what it really looks like from this.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the 8300 forum has more buzz because more people are having problems with it, like with the Bluetooth?

don't know about it feeling cheap 😕 as far as form, that is what i like, i tires of the same old flip, had a 6000,6100,7000,8000,8100,razr all the same phones with a few minor changes, this is just nice to have something different. The 8300 is extremely nice, but giving the chocolate a 0? Come on, it isn't that bad. This phone is super easy to use after setting it up the way you like, camera, music, contacts, messages, and 4 personalized shortcut keys, You can set it up to get into anything you want with the touch of one button. I do agree about the 9900 though, i can't waite for that one. Come on SEptember!!!

I rate you a ZEROOOOOO!!!!!! The Chocolate gets a 12! Eveyone's on the 8300 forum talking about a small thing called BLUETOOTH that does work properly with the 8300 and fine with the 8500. Thank you very much. LOSER

ok i see things like this and it makes me want to scream. Directly my questions is this. Have you spent more than 3 days with this phone and really understanding the device. yes it has its quarks and so do many of the new phone that get released, the reason the 8300 did so well is because its based off the ever so popular 8100. If you think about it the 8300 was a creation of all of the fixes for the 8100. If you had the chance for almost two years to refine somehing that you made andthen make it a little better wouldnt you? Then magicall with out and holds the 8300 passes fcc and then into your hands. Then there is the chocolate. Something new in its class. Not new for lg but at the same time new to design. Sure there was the kor...
