Samsung D900 vs Chocolate.
This phones stylings are so much better than the Chocolate and probably better at everything else.
...
Not even in the same genre other than they are both sliders. The Chocolate is more comparable to something like the D800/820. My friend bought a chocolate cdma version from verizon and it's pretty cool but a serious fingerprint magnet, it looked like hell after a few minutes of handling. It also has no speaker and one external speaker in the back which stinks.

I had an LG lx350 which is a great little phone on Sprint, but its face was a huge "fingerprint magnet", to the point that I had to exchange it for something else. It bothered me that much.

No way the chocolate has nothing against the D900 its not even in the same league. No matter how you look at it the D900 will always be better because it is GSM not old fashion CDMA also the camera blows the choc. away. The D900 is much smaller and samsung makes much better quality. Also the D900 is from Europe and Unlocked and Quad band the choc. is an American dream phone but to Europe's thats bottom of the line.

I sell Verizon and I'd be the first to admit D900 is better in every way over the chocolate. GSM vs CDMA is no contest. Once the US gets better with its GSM coverage there will be no reason to go with a CDMA phone. I was excited to see a "gsm like" slider coming to Verizon but its been heavily "verizonized" and it's already losing some of its hype. As soon a T-Mobile shows up in my area I'm filling out an application!!!! 😉

How 'bout a comparison to the EUROPEAN chocolate - the KG800 - much better than the VX8500. Looks wise, I'd say the KG800 wins hands down - but the D900 wins functionality wise.

are you kidding tmobile is horrible. thats like trading in your bentley for a geo.
...
for your information CDMA is a newer technology than GSM so technically GSM is old fashion
...
no
the e900 from samsung should be compared against it.
it's about the same as this..
but not as thin
i only say this because it has the heat sensitive keys on the outside like the chocolate.
i'd prefer the e900 over the chocolate though
