Apparently, it's a slightly modified version of the D900 released in Europe.

i was just at cingular today(at the q.c.m), asking about a plan- the guy mentioned to me that he (they* as in cingular) might be able to get the phone for cheaper if i wanted them to look into it. i gave him the info for it- but im not holding my breath--- u can always ask ur cingular store to do that.
