An lot of people say that this is a cheap phone. Let me tell you that I know for a fact it is not. I was at the town fair tonight and was up about 80 feet in a fast moving swinging ride when it fell out of my pocket and landed on the ground. I thought for sure it was toast but just the opposite. There was not a scratch on it and all works just fine. And it landed with the flip open. ONE TUFF PHONE.

I have none to say but stay impressed as long as I'm with my new LG VX7000. It's such a dope phone. Everything is so cool about this phone. Reception is so great, everywhere, in any part of US. Yesterday I came back from Canada and used my phone up there; it worked just as fine as I would be in NYC. LG roXXX.
MOTOROLA SUXXX! V710 ALSO SUXXX!
Finally, The New Menu System!!!!
I work for VZW and this is an awesome phone. The size is great, the ringers are loud, and the display is nice. And the best thing of it all........ THE MENU. This is the first phone that has the new "Standard Menu" which means that every phone that comes out after this one will have the exact same menu which is nice because now when you know one phone you will know them all which makes my job a little easier. If you want a phone that has it all, then get the VX7000.
P.S. Remember, when buying a phone, if it says Motorola on the front..... RUN!!!
Super! Don't wanna wait for VX8000
I recently switched to VZW and two phones, VX6000 & VX7000, cought my eye immediately. I, certainly, went with the newest one. I'm not disappointed at all. I love it. So many features to play with. Super coooooooool. Buy it! I, personally, can't wait and don't wanna wait for VX8000 release. However, VX8000 is way better and has more cool features, such as speakerphone, 262K outer display, MP3 playback, better design, etc.
Great Phone!
All I can say is I love it....this phone is a Bentley compared to my T720. Although the phone is larger, size is not an important issue for me.

V710, get down on your knees!!!
So many people are judging both VX7000 and V710, judging unfairly! How dare you all compare LG to Motorola and, at the same time, say that LG is a crap?! I'm sure, both phones have their "+"s and "-"s. But it does NOT give you right to say that LG VX7000 is a piece of *hit. I do have this phone, and it's outstanding. It does its job perfectly. All the features are amazing. I can't think of any con. On the contrary, Motorola phones are known for their "bugginess" and high "unsatisfied opinion" rates. Hopefully, V710 is something new and different from its previous versions which is, unfortunately, very doubtful. Time will show and be a perfect judge.
great phone for the average user
For the average user, I think this phone is great and will exceed your expectations. As for myself, I demand alot of features from my phone, so I just gave it an 'ok' rating.
PROS (that you don't see normally on other phones):
- swiveling camera, allows you to take pictures of yourself & still be able to use the view finder
- the best external lcd i've seen on a cell phone
- 5 megs of memory
- nice menu'ing interface
- LG finally abandoned the cradle battery recharger
- can record audio via mic and assign it as a ring tone
- send video messages (samsung a670 cannot)
CONS:
- no speaker phone
- camera lens likes to attract dust
- camera not as good as Samsung A670
- BIG, and i find the blue face plate ugly
- no bluetooth
- i chose this over the Samsung for the Mobile Web 2.0, but MW2.0 isn't as great as advertised
- can't assign video clips as your wallpaper like the samsung a670
SUGGESTION:
Compare it with the Samsung A670 and wait for the Motorola V710. Check which has the features you want and take advantage of Verizon's 15-day trial period. I trialled the Samsung A670 before switching to this phone. If you don't care about Mobile Web 2.0 and sending video messages, then the Samsung is a no-brainer.

I, being one of the VZW sales representatives, swear that LG VX7000 is the best phone out there. It's way better than the future V710. Take my word and trust me!

i absolutly love this phone. i like the size a lot, it looks bigger, but its a lot more comfortable holding it to ur face, the camera/video camera quality is outstanding. the only thing i wish it had is a speaker phone.
