Successor to the popular enV, the enV2 pares down on the size and makes improvements on the hardware. The only thing preventing it from being a superb phone is the software. read review ›

GREAT but....
Two months screen turned half black. Verizone replaced.
Phone does NOT stayed locked in pocket or purse. Will dial out numbers pressed so be careful.
Great phone overall
I've had this phone for a couple months now, and up till yesterday was completely satisfied with it. It seems there is a few glitches in this phone. One of them is on the front screen the "OK" button stops working occasionally, along with the"*", "0", and "#" the three buttons on the bottom of outside of the phone. It seems to be that when the buttons work, so does the OK and vice versa. Its very annoying because i love to text on the outside part also, and without the "OK" button and "#" button, i cannot. But besides that, it is an excellent phone.
I love this phone
So I had the original Env and I hated it!! It was extremely bulky and I have it replaced 3 times because it acted up. So I decided to get the env 2 because I enjoyed the concept of having a keyboard! I text a lot and need it badly. I instantly loved this new one! It is smaller and cuter than the older env! Plus, it just happens to be extremely close to crimson which is my favorite team's color (ALABAMA). I would definatly recommend this phone to anyone!
PROS:
great color
smaller
thin
typing is easier
larger numbers
Only 1 con- the size of the front screen
Great enV!
I had this phone for almost a week. I really love this phone!
My Pros:
Nice compact size
Call quality is good.
Great ringtones
Nice camera
Picture quality is great.
Internal screen is great.
External screen is small, but not an issue
Qwerty keyboard is nice. Texting is much easier.
With pictures, saving them to the micro-SD is great.
My Cons:
None, so far.
For those who likes calling and texting, this phone is great.
sweet
just got it 4 hours ago and amazed.
i thought it wouldn't be good because its front screen but it works out great.
some of my friends call me dumb for getting it but they haven't used it yet so they are the dumb ones
pros:
lg=godly
everything..
cons:
limited colors.. but I'm sure there will be other colors later
Great Phone
I got this phone 2 weeks ago and love it.
the comments on the use of the key board that you can't use capital letters is not true. Its called using your Shift key if you
were bright enough. The feel of the phone is good and well made. LG makes good phones
and if people like Motorola don't get they're stuff togeter they will be taken of
the market.
Cheaply made phone
This is a great phone for texting. I have had issues with it answering on its own. But my biggest beef is that the silver around the face is coming off and also the clear coat on the number pad is also peeling and the phone is looking ruff. I have only had it for abt a month and didn't take the plastic cover off the keys til about 2 weeks ago. I do know of about 6 other people who are having the same problem, but VZW says it is not a know issue, which i do not believe. Any one else having this problem.
this thing is kickin;
This phone is awesome. I love the camera. I also love the keyboard, but one thing that could be improved about the keyboard is the size. I like the keyboard on the env better, because they are better spaced out.
Pros:Camera
keyboard
call quality
weight
Cons:Size and spacing of keyboard
navigation keys on front
it's almost the perfect phone for me except...
it is almost the perfect phone for me except for one very very annoying factor---
the front keys don't really lock.
i know if you wait 7 seconds then you have to hit "OK" to make any entries, but that is SO easy to do it is not even funny. i carry my wallet in my front left pocket along with whatever phone i have at the time, so that is not going to change just for this silly phone. it's just what i do.
so in the last week, i have made at least 5 phone calls while it was in my pocket, supposedly with the keys locked.
all you have to do to unlock it is roll your hand firmly across the keys and i guarantee after a couple times you will randomly hit OK and you'll be hitting some kind of numbers, and eventually you can make a call.
this was the whole reason i didn't want this type of phone with the keys on the outside, but everyone assured me you could certainly lock the keys. LG's key lock system is garbage. you should have to hit a series of numbers just like locking the phone, and this should at least be an option. otherwise you have to hit several keys to make the lock happen after a phone call.
everything else is great, but the key locking problem is so bad that i had to give it a 2.5 since it is such a big problem to me. before this phone i only had flip phones, so it was a big step for me to decide to get this one, but i loved all the features that i was willing to give it a shot since everyone said you could lock the keys, and for the first day or two i didn't have any problems but after a day or two at work i saw it was going to be an issue. i really am considering returning it and getting the alias instead.
