I LOVE THIS PHONE. It i sooo awesome. It is a good size. It's a flip and it has a nice color. The ring tones are loud and cool.

The LG 7000 is the number one phone on the market, this phone is HOT!
Best Features:
-265,000 color display!!!
-65,000 color front display (as many colors as most main LCD's have)
-Camera/Video
-Sweet Calendar
-Very easy to use.
-Durability.
One main thing I look for in Clamshell phones is that the flip top will be durable. I can't stand it when the hinges get loose and you can hear your phone creeking while you talk. The LG was perfectly designed, I can't wait for the VX8000, I want to know when it will be released!
Very Good Phone
Ok.. here are the PROS:
1. Very loud ringers and earpiece.
2. Signal strength very good.
3. Size is perfect. (I am a man..with man sized hands. This phone fits perfectly. Some other men prefer dainty phones I suppose. But i remember when cell phones came in bags.. talk about big.)
4. Inside display screen is very bright and the colors are very clear.
5. I could go on and on..
Now to the issue of a speaker phone. Who cares?? :)
The only real question I have is why if there is a menu option to change the outside banner, does it not work ?? :)
I would recommend this phone to anyone. And for those that complain about the quality of the camera or the flash. If you want good quality pictures..buy a digital camera.
I'm impressed!
I've been owning this phone for already 3 months, and I've got only 3 words to say: IT IS SUPER. I won't even bother going through all the pro's and con's; so many people have done it before me. Probably, one who's reading these reviews, is wondering whether or not (s)he should get this phone. The answer is rock hard YES. Wanna hear it again? YES, GET THIS PHONE!
A great easy to use phone
I think this is the best phone I have ever used!!! It tops all phones I have seen and it works great.The camera works great with the flash and stuff. It is an exelent buy!!!
Shall we say, A minus?
This is an excellent phone that sometimes doesn't get enough credit or attention for being what it is; a great PHONE with a marginal camera and decent battery life. Originally, this phone had battery concerns, so Verizon released the black edition of the phone which is the model I am reviewing. This has an 1100 mAH battery as opposed to the 950 included with the original VX 7000.
Pros:
Very good battery life
Crisp internal display, large
Picture ID's and downloadable ringers
Picture messaging
Text messaging
Convenient side buttons that don't interfere
Hot design
Affordable
Way cool startup animations
Fast charging
Rotating camera ability
Verizon's general service is excellent
Marginals:
Camera - this is a phone, but it's good for some things I guess
Video limited to 15 seconds, but still fun
Memory capacity marginal, but acceptable
Ugly winter/fall calendar graphics (I'm sorry, but really, the spring/summer ones are so pretty - give me a break!)
Outer screen displays limited colors
Voice dial actually asks "would you like to call" if you make ANY noise between the phone's stating of the name and the call's connecting. This is incredibly annoying, but I guess it's useful for the people screaming "No!!!" when their request is interpreted incorrectly
Cons:
Antenna touching interferes with reception
No cover for camera lens, but no problems yet
Verizon banner on outer LCD
Overall, I love this phone. Very nice, LG. Quality of the 4400 in a newer more stylish form factor.
Was hesitant to get, but I like it.
I did alot of research before finally settling on this phone, and I'm happy with my choice. I looked mainly at Verizon and Cingular and the phones they offer. I have been with Verizon for 2 years, and like their area coverage, so I decided to stick with them.
This phone is a bit bigger than I expected- it's a little taller than the Mot 720 it's replacing, but about the same width and depth. It is lighter, though, and the screen is huge! Colors are vibrant and the exterior color screen is a nice touch. So far calls are loud and clear, and I haven't experienced any drops. No speaker phone, but my Mot. didn't have it, either, and no one likes being on a speaker phone anyway, so no loss there. I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but you can get true-tone ringers through Track Magnet w/the Get it now service. These allow you to use real songs as your ringers, but they're cut down to about 25 seconds. It's a great feature, though, and I think Verizon needs to advertise this a little more heavily. I found the menu system to be very easy to use and intuitive. I learned a couple basic things from the manual, but the phone will take you through the rest. Very nice.
The pictures look ok on the phone itself, and I haven't tried sending them or anything yet. I have a real 3.2 megapixel camera for real pics, so I'm not going to down play the phones camera. It's good enough for wallpapers/pic ID/etc. The video is rather pathetic, though, as the quality is poor, and they only go for 15 seconds. But again, that's what actual video camera's are for- not a phone.
If you're looking for a great phone that's easy to use and loud and clear, the VX7000 won't let you down.
Best Phone I Ever Owned
I have had this phone for a month now and am so glad I picked it. I used to have the Motorola T-730 so I was shy about getting another one. Well This is quite a phone.
Pros: Super Loud (but not distorted) ear piece.
Voice dialing that is perfect and never makes a mistake by confusing one voice entry with another one. The option to have it give an audible beep when the call is connecting is handy because how man time would I look at my phone thinking nothing was happening. Now I just wait for the beeps and I know the call is going through.
The ringer volume is very loud which is also a plus, along with the ability to record your own is a nice feature.
The display is crisp and clear with great color resolution. I have taken many wallpaper shots with the built in camera which also takes a 15 second video if you need one.
Battery life that appears to be never ending. This thing stays on for an eternity of calls.
Cons:
All Digital with no analog but that should not be a big deal.
I cannot come up with any other cons at this point because the phone is perfect.
I am so glad I bought this phone and you will be too.
kinda torn .. but too late now
I just bought the VX 6100 the other day and i REALLY liked it, i liked how you can change the background and the little animations and everything .. the design and all but i really wanted the video feature so i went back and switched to the VX 7000. Im kind of regretting that now .. i dont know what to think.
I got the phone for quality reasons so i shouldn't complain but its all the little things about it that i dont like. I mean the sound is great, the video feature is awesome and so is the ring tones .. but i really HATE that obnoxious red border .. cant get rid of that at all huh? I honestly think that is probably my biggest hatred about the phone is that and the inability to change the colours of stuff .. its just kinda boring? i dunno i like personalizing stuff to more than just my ring tone and having a picture in the background.
I dunno .. if anyone knows of a way to get rid of the red bar or to change the colour of it .. to change the theme colours or even how to get rid of the "verizon wireless' banner on the screens PLEASE tell me
