The Rokr
Well after about a week with my rokr the only thing that disappoints is the camera. My krzr k1 is much better. The haptic keypad is very cool and the speed wheel is very useful. The Linux OS is very nice and feels more computer like. The display is nice and sharp. Still trying to get a feel for battery life. Another thing I noticed was when I put speakerphone mode on the mic didn't change its sensitivity but no big deal on that. The phone volume it real good and the music player is good. If you get the USB adapter from micro to mini you can use the the Motorola USB single ear bud too. It works for the phone and music player but not the FM radio. The FM radio is great, I had tried the nokia 5310 but the Moto seems to be a bit more sensitive to pull in weak stations. Txting is good. The bluetooth connected with my PC (Kensington bluetooth dongle) and I can send pictures with no issues. I have had my share of freeze ups but I'm hoping the software update will fix this. This phone is a keeper for me and if the style works for you then I say go for it.
Very nice!
Okay everyone, this is one of my first GSM based reviews.
The E8 overall was a tricky phone to learn at first, but the configuration of the keypad was a blast when listening to my rather large music roster.
Pros:
The new morphing keypad is easy to learn, and makes it a blast when using the various features included in the phone.
Size is very conpact for what it's capable of
Cons:
not the greatest battery life.
