A Piece of Junk
I bought this a few weeks ago and it is dead. After the third battery recharge, it does absolutely nothing, NADA. The thing that upsets me most is that in the meantime since I was pleased with its performance during the first and second battery recharge, I purchased one for my husband. We need the Tracfone for an occasional phone call out. Now I have to deal with two dead phones and try to get my money back for two. Any one else with suggestions for revival of these phones before I go to battle?

Great phone
Great little phone, previously had the Nokia 1100, both with Tracfone and are both great. great reception and simple to use.Haven't found a place where they don't have a signal.
DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!
This is a very basic phone, and it has many very annoying flaws. When you turn on the phone, it often says 'searching... please wait." I suppose it's searching for service, but it won't even let you acces features that are on the phone, like games, contacts, clock, etc. And many times when it has finally found service, when you go into features like messages or contacts, it will say 'try again later'. The battery life is very short. The screen is small and the graphics and ringtones are very very low quality. It has very little memory and will require you to delete all your old text messages often. Texting is slow and difficult, because the phone cannot keep up with a very fast texter, and will skip letters and spell words wrong, even though you enter them correctly. I still have not figured out how to set speed dials, it simply won't let me. You can't set an alarm for any future date, just for a certain time, and it won't allow you to put very many words in the title, so it is confusing. This phone is a piece of JUNK!!!
Pros-
small and easy to hold
easy to use buttons
very very basic features easily accessible
Cons-
short battery life
doesn't let you use common features for almost five minutes after you turn the phone on
small screen
hard to text
not very many customizable settings
no speakerphone
no three-way calling
no camera
no speed dial
In the end, this phone works well if the only thing you are going to do with it is calling. If you plan to do anything else with it regularily, then this phone is not for you. There are limited features. It is the lowest level of basic. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!!! And also, don't be fooled, it gets worse with time. I have truly considered throwing mine against the sidewalk many times.
Slightly Mediocre but Sturdy Phone
The review title says it all. This phone is not really a ver good phone, but it's good enough for a beginner. I got it with the Go-Phone service from Cingular. The service really is an okay idea for some, but it wasn't for me. The phone, however, is sturdily built. It has enough features for a basic user. The screen isn't very big, but like everything else about this phone, it's good enough for a basic user.
Great First Phone
I originally bought this phone to text my friends and check in with my parents. For that, it worked great. Now that I've had it for a while, I've grown to crave more text options.
*I don't like that this phone doesn't have the option for a signature. Very annoying when I texted my friends for the first time, forgetting to sign it manually and they respond with "who is this?" I bypassed this by entering my signature into a "new user message" in the quicknotes templates (just remember to use it...)
*iTap is kinda annoying. I don't like having to press the soft key after every word, it's too far to reach and my thumb gets tired...
*No "new word" feature. For a lot of names and made-up words, you have to go through and type them letter by letter every time.
*Tracfone's pay-as-you go is too expensive for me because I text a lot. I'm switching to Sprint so that I can get unlimited text. I like the idea of switching SIM cards though, as previously mentioned.
A Cute Phone
This is my second phone. My first phone was a V120. I liked it, but it wasn't as nice as this phone. My mother dropped hers in the pool so she bought another one on line and gave this one to me. I put a new battery in it and it worked great! Here's what i think about this phone:
Pros:
-A flip phone (coming from a phone that wasn't)
-Nice color screen
-good reception
-Fits in most flip phone cases (i couldn't find any specifically for it)
-price
Cons:
-No camera (but you get what you pay for)
-A little bulky
-battery life
Thats about it. I hope this helps someone:)
good,bad,and ugly
This is a below average phone,of course you cant expect much more from its carriers(tracfone, net 10).The screen is small and mediocre the colors on it are equal to a game boy color,i think my thumb is bigger than this screen. It has NO graphics. It is a good sturdy motorola though and thats why i bought it.Of course i dont have it anymore it was junk.P.S. DONT BUY TRACFONE EVER!!!
Pros:
motorola
color screen
small,lightweight
bright enough
Cons:
ringtones arent even loud
vibration sucks
screen is way too small
awkward design
uses up battery for no reason
crappy carriers
