It is impossible to talk on THIS PIECE OF SH*T - it drops calls, it disconnects, it gives me 1 bar when my friends got all 5! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SH*T!!!!
Good phone for the money
This is a good entry-level flip phone. I recommend it to someone who wants to try out a Motorola flip.
Pros:
Ringtones are loud (see "cons" for a caveat).
Green button on the left, red on the right, just like most other phones.
Battery life seems good. I'll probably get 5-7 days out of it.
Haptics feature is nifty, but gimmicky. It uses the vibrator to simulate low bass in ringtones.
Volume adjust keys don't get in the way during normal phone use. I haven't yet pressed them accidentally.
External display shows the time, signal strength, battery, and icons for alerts such as voicemail, messages, etc. In other words, it shows the information I need at a glance without needing to press any buttons.
Easy to open and close the flip.
Cons:
STN screen lacks contrast. Hard to read, but still usable even in sunlight.
Camera image quality is terrible. Must be a cheap plastic lens.
Manual is just a reference guide. Very little in the way of how-to, nor are all features discussed. If you are not already familiar with mobile phones (Motorola user interface, in particular), the manual will be pretty useless to you.
The ringer speaker is located on the back of the phone. If the phone is laying on a table or a soft surface such as a pillow, the speaker gets covered up and is much harder to hear.
THIS PHONE IS WORTHLESS
This phone is not worth the money. Its feels like a fake toy phone. It is not durable and can smash easily. Trust me on this one. You wont like it. It is good for a little while but justs gets old.

Don't Like It At All!
I had bought this phone about two months ago and I already feel as if I had made the wrong decision to have bought it. The phone has terrible reception and the camera is the worst one I have ever seen in my wildest dreams. And the battery life is completely retarded considering if I would fully charge my phone and make a 1 hour phone call I would already have lost a battery link. If you read this, whatever you do don't buy it if you plan on using it heavily.
Pros- Nice long music tones and easy to use interface.
Cons- The camera is horrible as well as the battery life. I know I am rambling on and on about how horrible this phone is but I have never had a phone that was as horrible as this one. One last thing I noticed is that the phone has a lot of room for a bigger screen so I will not be buying a Motorola cell phone ever again unless I can have people to back me up on the Razer V3.
DON'T BUY IT
I am a mom with an asmatic baby so constant contact is more than a luxury for me. I was looking for a reliable phone with a few perks at a bargain price. Sometimes cheap is just that...cheap. I returned 2 phones in the space of 20 days. Both phones charged once and then refused to charge. I was just under my 30 day return period so I gave up on this model. I spent a little more and got the v551. Hopefully it is more reliable. As a long time fan of Motorola, I was very disappointed.

I give it a zero rating, because what good is a phone if my calls keep getting dropped?
The rest of it, okay. Although buttons on side of phone are too easy to accidentally push.
Volume is awful, I'm always missing calls. When I DO hear the calls, they get dropped at least 50% of the time.
Horrible chinking, clanking kind of noise while talking before the call drops!
I already took back a Sony Z500a, I thought it was the phone getting bad reception. I thought the Z500a was a little chintzy, but at LEAST I could HEAR it ring!!! It's just Cingular, I'm sure. Horrible reception in many places, but I have it for the mobile-to-mobile with daughter and son-in-law.
This phone is worthless to me.
P.O.S.
Pros: I like it for its small size and its OK weight. Camera lens has practical location, sunken in rim for protection against scratches. Keys feel nice with distinct click.
Cons: Outside screen is difficult to read without use of back light or eyeglass. Inside screen - fuzzy and small with tiny symbols. Input of text messages is slow due to 2 sec. delay between letters on same key. I didn't discover single click button command for switch between ring and vibration. Camera is low quality. Games? Garbage. Why did they load it there? Adults are not Game boy enthusiasts. Stub antena makes no sense, it could be integrated in body. Reception side by side with my 6 years old Motorola Startach is rubbish. Maximum volume is about half of volume of my Mot. Startach. Since day one, it freezes up for about one min. and after it resets itself when I try to scroll down/up in text messages. I got it for free, I got what I paid. Back to the store goes this P.O.S.!
The worst fone ive had
This fone was really bad. I had it for a lousy 2 DAYS and the camera stopped working. The USB interface also doesnt work well, and i was very disappointed with this fone. I paid £100 for this fone and, for the money, its bad. I wouldnt recommend this mobile to anyone. Please, dont waste your money. I now have a Motorola V80. If you want a fone, BUY THAT ONE, although it is expensive. The v220, i found, was bad quality for money, the screen was small, and the camera was of a poor quality. Please, PLEASE, dont buy this fone. Save your money and buy a good one.
Not the best
It all depends what you are expecting out of a phone, if you are a technology freak this phone is not for you, If your some one who needs a simple little phone and arnt expecting much from it then its OK from you.
My personal experience from this phone is not to good. I got this phone expecting a great camera, big colorful screen, a really great phone. The first thing I noticed as soon as I took it out of the box was how cheap it felt. When I put the battery in and turned the thing on noticed it was the same thing as the v180, only with a camera, it had the same tiny grainy washed out screen the same speaker on the back of the phone, wasn't very happy. Also, over about two weeks of having it in my pants pocket, the phone was getting very scratched, not happy with this phone

+usb cable and soft ware ended up costing almost as much as the phone
