A little too much phone for me
The phone is great, if that is what you are looking for. Me personally it's a little too much. I actually won a 7135 in a raffle and gave it to my sister. I prefer phones that you can just dial or say a persons name
Terrible phone
I owned the 7135 PDA Phone for about 14 months. The problems that really ticked me off were; Phone not wanting to answer on the first or second hit of any button to answer. The PDA freezing up and locking phone. Also, terrible signal in suburb areas.
My experience with this phone was very aggravating. If you were to make a call while dialing the number say 555-1234 when you start pressing the correct #'s it does nothing for about 2 sec. then plays catch-up. So you have to dial really slow. 2nd, When someone calls you and you flip open phone and press a button talk, you have to press it about 3-6 times to get it to pick up and then if you are lucky it will not try and play catch-up again on the button you just pushed creating many beeps while you are trying to say hello or talk. When trying to return the phone over the next year, for this and that. There was always software problem or the phone had to be re-authorized? what ever that means. Since inception I had a total of 6 of these phone and everytime there was a new problem that arose with the software. If you are looking for problems and slow performance on dialing numbers or pressing a number to talk, this is the phone for you. As for the PDA part, its alright if you just use the programs it came with, but don't add any. It will mess up the PDA and create hellacious lag and software problems. I tried with about 10-15 different programs. All the same. Plain and simple if you want a PDA and a phone, do just that. Get 1 PDA and 1 Phone, don't get this combination, problems.problems.problems.
Last month I took phone in and they finally received so many other problems from other people on this phone that they gave me the choice of any other phone I wanted free. I chose the LGVX7000 and got a separate PDA, now I am in heaven.
