Sony Ericsson W300 / Z530
Average Ratings
Excelent Phone Reception!
I used a cell phone for what it is...a PHONE - to be able to call and to be able to receive calls, and second for its other nice to have gadgets. As a phone, w300 EXCELS in every respect â reception...reception... reception...slick and stylish design, not too big to put in a pocket, or to take it with you jogging.
Pros:
- RF: Voice Quality â NO distortions
- RF: Ability to hold onto the weakest signal
- Battery Life.
- Call Volume
- Ring Volume
- Speaker Phone Volume
- Radio
- Walkman
- USB â can transfer pictures and mp3âs.
- Build quality (Iâve dropped this phone at list 7 times on the concrete and is still in one piece and working!)
Cons:
- Screen resolution â could be better
- Weird phone dial pad (child fingers needed for dialing)
- Gamesâ¦Get real SONYâ¦Neopets!?
- Sonyâs proprietary headset/USB/Recharger plugs.
- Camera Resolution
- Contacts/Address Book (seen better)
- No ability to install applications through the USB cable
- Lack of accessories (even a plastic swivel holder would be nice)
- Only Cingular carries this kind of phone. It's a shame my carrier (T-Mobile) does not offer Sony-Ericssons!
I gave it a 4.5 rating because of Sonyâs proprietary connectors and the keypad arrangement, otherwise I would buy a Sony phone again.
