Samsung SCH-A930

Worst Phone for Verizon Ever
Returned this phone after 2 days. Reception was so bad and very spotty. The back of the phone has a sticker saying don't touch this area because of the antenna, but that's almost impossible to do. Voice quality is loud, but also distorted even at lower volumes. I thought it was a bad unit until I heard others say the same. this is definitely a strike out for Verizon
Horrible Phone!!
This Samsung sucks. Reception is very bad due to the internal antenna stupidly placed on the top rear of the phone. Ringtones are horrible and the stereo speakers sound terrible. The outser display is impossible to read on a sunny day and doesn't turn off and can be quite obnoxious looking in a dark room, or any dimly lit place. Last Samsung I will buy for a long time.
NICE
truthfully, my mom had this phone so i can't say too much but, overall a well built phone. it's big and feels sturdy compared to some other phones and has a front display that's always on to show the time.
PROS:
-feels nice
-music sounds great even to newer phones
-good front display
CONS:
-battery life
-older and used more so main screen sometimes stays on when phone is closed
my friend had this phone too and the front screen got shot w/ an airsoft gun and still worked- plastic broke though
Phone and Verizon Wireless sub-par
The pros are this is truly a great little gadget phone. I owned it for three days before returning it to Verizon. The cons- dropped 9 out of ten calls while in midst of conversation. When I tried to explain to Verizon my problem they simply told me. "I lived in a rural area and no matter what Verizon phone I had would not help." Hey Verizon when did downtown Los Angeles become rural?
