Generally a basic phone without extras
This was my first TracFone back in 2009. A friend of mine had given it to me after she got herself a different phone. It worked great while I had it for about a year (I upgraded to an LG phone with a few more extras). This phone is a great one for people who just want something basic without a lot of fancy extras. Here are two downsides to this phone:
1. No Internet access.
2. No way to get downloads of additional ringers, graphics or games (meaning, the ringers that are on this phone are the only ones you get). This phone has only one graphic image and one game, no others.
Now, here are several positives to this phone:
1. Battery power is long lasting (for me, a full charge lasted at least a full week before needing a recharge).
2. Call quality was sharp and it was easy to understand the voice of whoever I was talking to.
3. Ringers were easy to hear as well.
If you don't want a massive amount of extras on this phone, then it is just right for you. If you want the extras, look elsewhere.
CHEAP YET STURDY!
I got this phone about a month ago and it has not disappointed me. I use this as a business phone and although I do like web and picture messaging and such, I have another phone for all of that. I use this phone for calling and texting and it gets the job done. Very simple and easy to use. If you are looking for a phone that does more than text and calls, this isn't for you. Get a phone that is suitable for your needs people. If you cant afford it, tough!! Don't take it out on the phone.
-Battery charge is alright, suggested to get a car charger.
-An ear bud is nice too if you use it for business.
-Tiny/compact and cute might I add.
-Good reception.
-Has predictive text, although a little on the slow side.
Worst Phone EVER!
I've never had a phone that has caused as much hassels and problems that this phone did. I was just sent my 4th replacement phone and decided that its not worth the trouble and ordered an upgrade. The first problem I've experienced is the phone would keep on turning itself off and turning itself on randomly, then finally it wouldn't turn on at all. The second problem I experienced with the phone is the battery would only last 6 hours max no matter how long I charged the phone for. The third problem I experienced is the OK key stopped working. How are you supposed to do anything with your phone when the OK key doesn't work? Answer: NOTHING! After all the hassel I've decided to not even bother with the 4th replacement. I would highly recommend not even bother buying this phone. Its not worth the hassel.
not the best phone
pros:
-ok world clock
-ok battery for the first 6 months
CONS:
-phone battery dies in about 3 hours of being on and 40 minutes of talk time about 5 months and 26 days of having it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING THIS PHONE!!!!
THE ONLY THING THATS GOOD IS IT DOES NOT HAVE ROAMING CHARGES.
