LG Invision
LG Invision - Good but has some quirks
I bought this phone 2 months ago. I need a phone more than I need a media player so I'm probably not it's ideal user.
Sound quality is good, speakerphone works well and Bluetooth devices were easy to connect/synch.
Battery life is good but surprisingly, this is where my chief problem with this phone lies. The powersave mode kicks in really fast and I miss things as a result. I can't carry my phone everywhere and if a call or reminder happens while I'm away, I return to a black screen and have to remember to wake the phone up to see what I missed. Sounds small but this really is inconvenient - not what you're looking for in a cellphone. I would love to disable this feature but don't seem able to.
I've found that I can't control sounds by type. Not possible to be able to set a tone of your choice for message alerts and unless all sounds are turned off (not very pratical), the phone chimes every time a menu setting is changed.
This phone seemed to be the best phone with the features I needed from my provider and I still think that's the case. The things I don't like were not documented and I don't know if I would have appreciated them even if they had been.
Another Excellent Phone from LG
Pros: Excellent call quality; dynamic picture quality for watching t.v.; decent camera
Cons: no threading for text messages
