Cons: I had this phone two and a half weeks and it started turning itself off. Then it would take five or ten minutes of working with it to turn back on. With this phone you also have to flip it open to view the screen, you can't just push a side button. It has no missed call alert.
Pros: It is a pretty red color.
An okay phone
The R330 is an okay phone. I had it for a week. I do not care about cameras or any of that stuff when i get a phone, the most important thing for me is the reception and call quality on both ends of the call! Thats what matters. The samsung R330 is the best Samsung ive had so far. The call quality could be better on my end, it cuts out once in a while. The receiving end says that i sound pretty good. I don't know if i will keep this phone. I might take it back to get the LG Helix. LG's usually offer better reception from my experience. I have returned every other Samsung I have had because of reception problems, and i just prefer LG's more. I will probably keep the R330 for another week and see how it goes, but overall this is the best Samsung phone ive had, but it is just an okay phone. Nothing to brag about!
No missed text alert, good otherwise
my friend got this phone like 2 weeks ago it might be a different model because it looks a tiny different . he works a lot, and phone sometimes is laying somewhere and he misses the call. there is no beep noise like his old phone did to tell him he had a missed call so the person thought he was ignoring them. so it'd be the next day that he got the missed call alert because thats the next time he looked at it. Overall a nice phone otherwise.
Now don't let this review make the stats exactly go down for you just because it is a 4.0 samsung is awesome. it was only because my friend told me that this phone has some missed call issues in a phone conversation thats why he didnt respond quickly. Now if your not a big phone user or get a lot of phone calls i suggest go for it, just for somebody that works at a factory is not a good phone because of the missed call issue. I have the samsung snap currently. love the phone and samsung has some awesome technology. the texting goes the same way on the Stride, no alert sound what-so-ever.
